Q. What QT documentation am I required to carry in my Limousine?
A. Four (4) documents are required: -
1. Copy of Operator Accreditation
2. Copy of "Annex C" - Terms and Conditions of the Limousine Service Licence - For a Lessee, the Licence owner is required to provide this document.
3. Copy of Incident Management Plan - Contact the LAQ if you require help with this requirement
4. Map of the Limousine Service Area that applies to your Licence (Copies arefound in the Members Section)
Q. As an owner of a Limousine Service Licence what documentation do I need to provide to my lessee?
A. 1. Copy of Lease Agreement
2. Copy of "Annex C", The Terms and Conditions of the Limousine Service Licence. QT provides this document when you pay your yearly Licence renewal fees.
Q. Does the LAQ have a Lease Agreement document that I may use?
A. A link to a sample Lease Agreement is found on the Members Current News, but we stress that this should be formated and edited to suit your own requirements and the LAQ recommends that you seek independant legal advice before entering into a Lease Agreement.
Q. Can I have alcohol and then drive my Limousine while "off duty"?
A. NO. A person driving a Limousine must have a zero blood alcohol level at ALL times, this also includes any time the vehicle is used for private use.
Q. What are my responsibilities for Stamp Duty payments once I have purchased a Limousine Service Licence?
A. Whilst QT notifies the Office of State Revenue (OSR) of Licence sales it is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the OSR to obtain the relevant documentation (Form 2.2 and Form 2.3 if appropriate) and then submit those details to OSR within 30 days of the transfer or agreement to transfer (whichever occurs earlier). Do not wait for OSR to contact you.

Q. Do I need to have a WRITTEN Lease Agreement when I lease a Licence?
To protect your business it is imperative you have a written Lease Agreement. If The Licence is sold the agreement offers you protection from having the Licence taken away from you at short notice. It is a Legislative requirement to have a written lease agreement in place. Contact the LAQ if you require further information.
